What you will do

• Determine project requirements, conduct site reconnaissance, and develop designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Analyze data to integrate key factors into practical and innovative engineering solutions.
• Resolve complex conflicts between design standards and operational requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and professional advice to engineers, project teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor team members on methodologies for complex engineering challenges.
• Provide oversight and project management for construction and maintenance initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of General Engineer experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• US Citizenship.
• Knowledge of healthcare design, fire codes, building codes, and barrier-free codes.
• Ability to review and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with Revit and Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with VistA (Veterans Health Information & Technology Architecture).
• Experience with patient-centered healthcare environments.
