TL;DR

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure): Designing and optimizing hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Azure Local with an accent on governance, networking, and identity services. What you will do

• Design, deploy, and optimize hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Azure Local.
• Own Azure governance using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), managing subscriptions, policies, and tagging.
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise networking, including Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco equipment, and Azure VPN/ExpressRoute.
• Implement identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and PIM.
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and collaborate on Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot standards.
• Automate operational tasks and standardize configurations using PowerShell and Azure CLI.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on expertise in hybrid environments involving Azure Local (Stack HCI), Windows Server, and Hyper-V.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (VLANs, VPNs, DNS, Load Balancing, and firewall policy management).
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI; experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates is highly preferred.
• Must pass a background review and be eligible to work in the US (E-Verify).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Python scripting.
