Senior .NET Developer (.NET)

What you will do

• Analyze, design, and develop system modernization initiatives and enhance legacy applications.
• Build and maintain backend services using .NET (C#), GraphQL, and relational databases.
• Lead Agile development activities, including standups, user stories, and backlog grooming.
• Implement and maintain containerized solutions and support CI/CD pipeline development.
• Design unit tests, review load testing results, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and collaborate with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and developing GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with Postgres and/or MSSQL databases, including data modeling and schema design.
• Proven experience as a senior or lead engineer on development projects.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work from Washington D.C.

Nice to have

• Experience working with legislative systems or legislative data.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) or React.js.
