TL;DR

Senior Mobile Developer (Kotlin, React Native or Swift): Design and build mobile-first consumer experiences and supporting APIs that power growth, personalization, and experimentation with an accent on scalable, reliable systems. Focus on owning well-scoped features end to end, contributing to architectural decisions, and upholding high standards for performance, security, observability, testing, and reliability.

Location: Colombia (remote, async-first, cross-functional environment)

What you will do

  • Design and build mobile-first consumer experiences and supporting APIs powering growth, personalization, and experimentation.
  • Own well-scoped features end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Analytics to translate growth strategy into intuitive mobile experiences.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions ensuring scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems for mobile surfaces.
  • Write clear technical documentation and design proposals for asynchronous collaboration.
  • Uphold high engineering standards around performance, security, observability, testing, and reliability for customer-facing features.

Requirements

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • 5+ years building and shipping mobile consumer experiences in production.
  • Proficiency in iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin), and/or React Native, maintaining production apps.
  • Exposure to cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS) and mobile operations at scale.
  • Ability to deliver complex, user-facing features with high polish, performance, and reliability.
  • Understanding of mobile clients integrating with backend services, APIs, data modeling, error handling.
  • Experience owning end-to-end features spanning mobile and backend.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies like Python or Kotlin.
