What you will do

• Operate large-scale data infrastructure across OLTP/OLAP, streaming, and batch workloads.
• Enhance infrastructure reliability via automation, monitoring, and incident response.
• Develop Python-based tooling and services to optimize operational workflows.
• Modernize and maintain the Python ecosystem, ensuring compatibility and dependency management.
• Automate cross-team workflows to increase visibility and efficiency.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and monitoring dashboards.

Requirements

• Strong programming proficiency in Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Proven track record maintaining large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with engineering and product teams.
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation and user guides.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming systems such as Flink or Kafka.
• Familiarity with data platform technologies like Spark, Data Lake, MySQL, or Snowflake.
• Experience with data processing frameworks and near-real-time pipelines.
• Experience supporting shared infrastructure services across multiple engineering teams.
