What you will do

• Lead high-stakes negotiations with government and regulatory bodies to secure licenses and advocate for policy positions.
• Execute regulatory strategies for new market entry across Southeast Asia, managing multi-agency approvals.
• Manage the full lifecycle of operating permits and licenses, ensuring timely renewals and organizational compliance.
• Analyze global regulatory changes and translate legislative impacts into strategic advice for leadership.
• Collaborate with Legal and Product teams to integrate regulatory requirements into business planning.
• Represent the company at industry forums to enhance reputation as a market disruptor.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs, or Licensing.
• Proven success in strategic negotiation of regulatory outcomes and managing government approvals.
• Deep expertise in Malaysian government licensing and regulatory frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Strong diplomatic skills for engaging with high-level officials.
