HPC Engineer (High-Performance Computing)

What you will do

• Configure and maintain HPC computer racks, hardware, and physical cabling.
• Provision and install operating systems including Linux, Windows Server, and Unix.
• Manage and optimize distributed file systems such as Lustre and NFS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and networking equipment failures on Linux clusters.
• Perform preventive maintenance and logical resolution of hardware problems.
• Implement and manage virtualization and containerization solutions.

Requirements

• Deep domain knowledge of High-Performance Computing (HPC).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
• Experience with scripting languages, specifically Python and Shell.
• Strong understanding of computer networks and network switch topology.
• Hands-on experience with HPC hardware configuration and provisioning.

Nice to have

• Experience with web server and database installation.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization tools.
