What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated tests using C for embedded firmware and Python for platform integration.
• Own and drive automation suites for specific features to ensure reliability and comprehensive coverage.
• Perform firmware integration testing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation Portal, and Windows.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize test infrastructure for stability and performance.
• Analyze execution data to eliminate flaky tests and improve overall runtime.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, and Product teams to align test coverage strategies.

Requirements

• Strong Python scripting skills with experience in pytest and Appium.
• Proficiency in C or C++ (modern C++17 preferred).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Familiarity with test case management tools such as qTest or TestRail.
• Understanding of embedded firmware testing and hardware/software integration.
• Must be based in the USA (based on 401k and benefits requirements).

• Experience with GitHub Actions or Windows-based drivers.
