Salary: $160,000 - $225,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop highly reliable and available software for a low-latency, high-capacity satellite-based ISP network.
• Build performant web applications using a .NET micro-service architecture running in Kubernetes.
• Implement continuous monitoring and alerting to foster data-driven decisions and improve system observability.
• Collaborate with internal partners and other engineering teams on architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Deep dive into user problems to design and create efficient, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, math, or science (or 7+ years of professional experience in software development).
• Programming proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing/MPLS protocols (BGP, ISIS, Segment Routing).
• 5+ years of experience with Linux systems engineering and administration.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, etc.) to comply with ITAR export regulations.

Nice to have

• Frontend experience with Angular, React, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems or large-scale consumer Internet services.
