What you will do

• Define and execute a joyful audio vision aligned with project creative pillars and player experience goals.
• Provide creative direction and clear objectives while mentoring the growth of audio team members.
• Manage staffing needs and external partnerships to facilitate the acquisition of SFX, music, and dialogue assets.
• Support the iterative development of the audio technical stack and in-engine content creation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to ensure audio supports strategic decision-making in action gameplay.

Requirements

• Proven ability to define and deliver an audio vision for interactive projects.
• Experience leading collaborations with design, art, and programming teams, specifically for action or fighting games.
• Strong understanding of sound design craft and interactive audio systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-hybrid digital-first environment using Slack, JIRA, Miro, and Confluence.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping fighting games or action-platformers with tight audio-input alignment.
• Experience with online multiplayer games and audio co-development.
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 and WWISE.
• Knowledge of music composition and aesthetic appreciation for stylized soundtracks.
