What you will do

• Lead and scale security strategy, designing and maintaining secure infrastructure.
• Identify and mitigate security risks through comprehensive assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure secure coding and implement systems to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Develop and execute incident response plans and conduct forensic analysis.
• Establish real-time monitoring systems and proactively respond to threats.
• Evaluate and secure third-party integrations and conduct security training for the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a security-focused engineering role with technical architecture and implementation experience.
• Proven experience building or scaling security functions within a startup or high-growth company.
• Expertise in SAST/DAST, application security, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Deep knowledge of AI-specific threats (prompt injection, model poisoning, etc.).
• Strong programming and automation skills, specifically with Python.
• Relevant cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
