What you will do

• Lead the development of TT-Forge, an MLIR-based compiler.
• Manage a team focused on scaling graph transformations, lowering passes, and kernel-level optimizations.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and ML teams to ensure the compiler supports real-world performance and deployment needs.
• Take technical ownership of roadmap priorities, planning, and team mentorship.
• Identify bottlenecks, debug performance issues, and improve developer workflows across the stack.

Requirements

• Strong fluency in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with MLIR, LLVM, or related infrastructure, including dialect design or optimization passes.
• Deep understanding of modern AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Proven track record of building compilers or similar systems in fast-paced engineering environments.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology (EAR compliance).
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Austin, TX.
