What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, and automated equipment to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations and tolerances.
• Load and modify CNC programs, select tooling, fixtures, and materials for operations.
• Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production and quality records.
• Follow safety procedures, keep work environment clean, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Requirements

• Skilled in setting up and operating CNC machines with experience in mills and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, work with tight tolerances.
• Proficiency in CNC programming, tooling, and precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Norfolk, VA.
