What you will do

• Monitor and investigate proactive alerts to detect and mitigate L3, L4, and L7 attacks.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve security tools and features.
• Communicate directly with VIP customers via chat, email, and phone during active incidents.
• Configure security monitoring rules and maintain customer-specific runbooks.
• Perform DDoS mitigation using Magic Transit, WAF, and Rate Limiting.
• Deliver monthly security reviews and support the onboarding of managed customers.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of internet protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, GRE, BGP).
• Proven experience in L3/4 and L7 attack mitigation and traffic analysis.
• Proficiency in Command line / Bash shell.
• Mandatory experience in customer-facing or technical support.
• Ability to work in 24x7 rotating shifts.
• Strong communication skills for managing high-pressure situations with VIP clients.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or CISM.
• Network certifications like CCNA or CCNP.
• Scripting skills, preferably in Python.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, tcpdump, or Wireshark.
• Knowledge of hirify.global Security products and API/GraphQL.
