What you will do

• Architect and own enterprise-wide Ansible automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Design and maintain scalable playbooks, reusable role structures, and inventory structuring at scale.
• Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains to automate provisioning and patching.
• Develop standardized automation for Linux and Windows environments, focusing on hardening and compliance.
• Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams to align automation with STIG, NIST, and RMF frameworks.
• Provide technical mentorship and establish governance standards for configuration management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of systems engineering or infrastructure automation experience.
• Deep expertise in Ansible playbook development, role-based architecture, and Ansible Tower/AWX.
• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Eligibility for a Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Active security clearance.
• Experience in DoD-adjacent or FedRAMP/IL-level environments.
• Experience with containerized or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GovCloud).
• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies.
• Experience automating vulnerability remediation workflows.
