What you will do

• Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, right-of-way, construction, and control surveys
• Prepare, review, and certify survey plats, maps, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with MDOT/SHA standards and procedures
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders on roadway projects
• Provide technical guidance, quality control, and manage field operations
• Maintain records and communicate project status to clients and teams

Requirements

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Maryland (required)
• 5+ years of professional surveying experience, including MDOT/SHA projects
• Strong knowledge of Maryland surveying regulations and transportation requirements
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and software
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and perform field work in varying conditions
• Willing to use personal vehicle for site travel (mileage reimbursed)
