What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end systems for customer-facing workflows and internal operations.
• Evolve architecture for scalability, reliability, and security in core financial systems like payment orchestration and reconciliation pipelines.
• Integrate third-party financial APIs (e.g., Taktile, Modern Treasury) to automate data ingestion, risk evaluation, and cash workflows.
• Lead through system design, code reviews, and mentorship to raise engineering standards.
• Build observable systems handling high transaction volumes in a financial domain.

Requirements

• 5+ years building production-scale software, proficient in Typescript and Node.js.
• Systems thinking for scalable, reliable solutions across the stack.
• Pragmatic problem-solving focused on business impact.
• Thrive in remote-first, distributed environment with ownership and ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, credit risk, or payment processing.
• Startup founder or early-stage background.
