TL;DR
Tech Support Manager: Lead Enterprise IT end-user support across Spain, ensuring consistent deployment of Group standards and processes in the Iberia market while building partnerships with local business stakeholders. Location: Onsite at least 3 times a week at Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes, Barcelona, Spain

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the local Tech Support team, setting objectives and fostering high performance.
- Oversee helpdesk operations, tailor global IT procedures for Spanish/Portuguese markets, and act as escalation point for complex issues.
- Collect performance metrics, represent Iberia in global IT forums, and contribute to Group-wide standardization.
- Build relationships with local business leaders, translate needs into IT solutions, and support change management.
- Manage hardware assets, vendors, budgets, compliance, and security in coordination with global teams.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish; proficiency in English at B2 level (or higher)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years proven experience leading IT support or Service Desk teams in structured environments.
- Experience in international environments, vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget oversight.
- Strong hands-on experience with JIRA or similar ITSM systems.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and critically evaluating outputs.
Nice to have
- Experience adapting market-specific procedures to global standards of a multinational corporation.
- Proficiency in Portuguese.
