What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and scale backend services for products like Payment, Billing, Identity, and partner integrations.
• Build robust, fault-tolerant systems with external dependencies and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to solve rent payment challenges.
• Lead scoping, API design, implementation, and production rollouts with minimal oversight.
• Deliver changes agilely through small, frequent iterations.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years software engineering experience; 4+ years with Java
• Proficient in Java frameworks: Spring (core/web/boot), Gradle, JUnit, JVM tuning.
• Experience with SOA, REST APIs, message queues, scalable architectures.
• AWS services (EKS, Aurora RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB), containerization.
• Ability to work on globally-distributed team
• Work with technical/non-technical stakeholders, aligning on scope and delivery.
