What you will do

• Architect and implement distributed systems handling immense throughput and concurrency for hirify.global Voice.
• Design low-latency, high-scale APIs providing real-time data access to customers.
• Optimize and manage distributed database environments like PostgreSQL/Aurora for high availability.
• Own full development lifecycle from design and prototyping to 24x7 production operations.
• Collaborate across teams to solve hard distributed systems problems and ensure resilient APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience in backend/infrastructure systems (Master’s/Bachelor’s or equivalent).
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, consistency models, partition tolerance, scaling stateful services.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Dropwizard for building RESTful APIs at scale.
• Experience tuning PostgreSQL, Aurora or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS/GCP for large-scale services deployment.
• Agile environment comfort with "you build it, you run it" operational mentality.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse or column-oriented databases for OLAP queries.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Harness.
• Data pipelines using Kafka or Spark.
