What you will do

• Select and edit manuscripts in your expertise areas from engineering, physics, or chemistry.
• Review AI-pre-edited manuscripts for accuracy, reject incorrect changes, and apply your own domain-specific edits.
• Ensure language clarity so it does not barrier research communication for non-native English speakers.
• Work autonomously, choosing jobs based on availability and your interests.

Requirements

• Native English proficiency.
• Master’s degree, PhD, or professional degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, or related field.
• Significant experience working in or editing papers in the relevant field.
• Documented current or former affiliation with an accredited, not-for-profit, English-instructed college or university (degree, enrollment, postdoc, employment, or faculty).
• Based in the United States.
