TL;DR

Staff DevOps Engineer (Azure): Designing, automating, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure to support SaaS and on-premise products with an accent on CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, reliability, and security compliance. Focus on implementing IaC with Terraform and Helm, enhancing deployment processes, and participating in on-call rotations for incident management.

Location: Remote (Philippines). On-call shifts required, flexibility on working in different time zones.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage Azure environments using Terraform and Helm for scalability and consistency.
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins for reliable software releases.
• Implement monitoring and observability with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Datadog.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident management, and root cause analysis for system reliability.
• Integrate security checks and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Mentor juniors and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure design, deployment, and management.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Helm for IaC and configuration.
• Solid Linux administration, networking, and Azure security fundamentals.
• Experience with production CI/CD pipelines and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• On-call shifts required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Datadog.
• Background in high-availability or multi-region Azure infrastructure.
• Exposure to compliance environments (SOC 2, ISO, FedRAMP).
• Knowledge of infrastructure security hardening and zero trust concepts.
