What you will do

• Architect and lead design, deployment, and management of Kubernetes clusters on-prem (Galleon data centers) and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Mentor team in cluster administration, monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), performance, and capacity management.
• Implement Kubernetes networking (CNI, Ingress), storage (PV/PVC, CSI), and security best practices (RBAC, Network Policies).
• Drive IaC with Terraform, Ansible, Helm; automate CI/CD pipelines and cluster operations.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize for edge environments, and integrate new Kubernetes technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams; maintain documentation and participate in on-call.

Requirements

• 12+ years in DevSecOps/SRE/platform engineering, focusing on complex production environments.
• 5+ years hands-on with production Kubernetes clusters, including on-premises/bare-metal.
• 5+ years deep Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Kubernetes architecture, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), scripting (Python/Bash), monitoring tools.
• Strong networking, container security knowledge; bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate on complex problems.

Nice to have

• Red Hat OpenShift, CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins), Docker, Ansible playbooks.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKS, CKAD), operators/CRDs, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
