What you will do

• Lead the evolution of the hirify.global Edge Platform (AEP) for distributed, high-latency, and disconnected environments.
• Drive the architectural roadmap for visionary initiatives, including Data Centers in Space and LEO orbital compute modules.
• Collaborate with strategic industry partners to co-design and integrate deep-tech solutions into global ecosystems.
• Define the 3–5 year technical roadmap for high-density GPU orchestration and orbital data processing.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex challenges involving real-time data streaming and computer vision.
• Mentor Staff and Principal engineers to foster a culture of high-performance engineering and architectural rigor.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with a track record as a Distinguished Engineer, Fellow, or equivalent senior leader.
• Deep mastery of Data Center operations, Compute architectures (CPU/GPU/NPU), and AI Infrastructure at scale.
• Expert-level knowledge of distributed systems in resource-constrained, remote, or "denied" environments.
• Mastery of Go, C++, or Rust and a deep understanding of software interaction with physical hardware.
• Proven ability to work across company lines with partners to build industry-standard technical solutions.
• Must be based in the US for the stated compensation and benefits.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of networking stacks optimized for satellite and terrestrial mesh networks.
• Interest or experience in orbital mechanics, radiation-tolerant software, or space-based communication.
• Experience building "Day 2" operations for fleets of thousands of remote devices in harsh environments.
