Salary: $113,760 – $142,200 USD (Tier 2 U.S. metro areas; higher for Tier 1 like Seattle).

What you will do

• Own controls package: create points list, alarm matrix, sequences of operation (SoO), and trend/log requirements.
• Define integration approach for packaged equipment and site systems with clear interface specs and standardized naming/tagging.
• Design fault responses (power events, sensor faults, etc.) and ensure meaningful, prioritized alarms.
• Partner on functional test scripts, support OEM reviews, and drive integration readiness for monitoring and handoff.

Requirements

• 5+ years controls engineering in mission critical or industrial systems.
• Demonstrated experience integrating packaged equipment controls into coherent systems.
• Strong ability to write sequences, convert mechanical intent to testable logic, alarm rationalization, and commissioning support.
• Comfort with controls networking fundamentals (addressing, data exchange, segmentation).
• U.S.-based candidates (geographic pay structure).

Nice to have

• Direct experience with data center plant controls or modular infrastructure.
• Hands-on with BACnet, Modbus or equivalent protocols.
• Functional performance testing and field bring-up (FAT/SAT/IST).
