What you will do

• Extend and support remote browser technology serving millions of users on worldwide cloud infrastructure.
• Work on Chromium internals, networking, video/audio processing, and advanced HTML5 features like WebGL and WebRTC.
• Implement containerization, load balancing, scaling, and cost optimizations with a strong security focus.
• Collaborate in a highly experienced team with rigorous design and code review processes.
• Apply systems-level expertise to new challenges in browser technology.

Requirements

• US/UK Web Isolation team – location-specific team.
• Excellent C++ skills.
• Deep understanding of browsers, Chromium internals, networking fundamentals.
• Experience implementing features in Chromium or similar at content, browser, core, compositor, skia, and networking layers.
• Systems-level Linux experience.
• Ability to use modern AI tooling in development workflows.
• BSc or higher in Computer Science or related field; strong communication, organization, and learning ability.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of Python, Rust, Javascript, HTTP security.
• Tornado, haproxy, AWS EC2, WebGL, WebRTC, font rendering, input handling including IME and contenteditable.
