Sr. SW Engineer, Localization (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain applications using Golang or Java following clean code and software engineering best practices.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Utilize AWS services (SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge) and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and evolution.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system robustness.
• Monitor application health and performance using observability tools and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil.
• English: B2 level or above required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer and 3+ years of experience with Golang.
• Experience with the Financial Industry or Payments/Authorization Systems.
• Proficiency in AWS and strong relational/non-relational database design and data modeling.
• Experience with Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, and Codefresh for infrastructure and deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience working with critical systems.
• Deep understanding of observability practices, including monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
