Sr Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity): Serving as a key technical and business advisor to customers and partners to drive the adoption of the identity platform with an accent on technical demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoC). Focus on aligning identity security solutions with critical business challenges and leading the technical sales cycle for enterprise clients in Japan.

What you will do
- Act as a technical authority on identity security to ensure customers understand the value of the Platform.
- Plan, propose, and demonstrate solutions to various stakeholders, ranging from technical practitioners to C-level executives.
- Execute Proof of Concepts (PoC) to technically validate that identity solutions solve critical customer challenges.
- Collaborate with sales teams and partners to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in the Japanese market.
- Mentor less experienced sales representatives and SEs, contributing to the overall performance improvement of the team.
- Represent as a presenter or demonstrator at online and offline industry events.
Requirements
- Experience in customer-facing Pre-sales SE or Technical Sales roles.
- Native-level Japanese with excellent communication and reading comprehension skills.
- English proficiency sufficient for communication via email, Slack, and one-on-one conversations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with technical staff and leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM), SSO, and API-based solutions.
- Knowledge of network security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and LDAP.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools like Kubernetes or Terraform.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as SPIN, Solution Selling, or MEDDICC.
- Cybersecurity experience in design, implementation, or operation of products like EDR/XDR or SIEM.
