What you will do

• Serve as a technical authority on Identity Security to help customers understand the value of the Auth0 Platform.
• Plan, propose, and demonstrate Auth0 solutions to stakeholders from practitioners to C-level executives.
• Lead and execute customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to technically validate solution value.
• Respond to detailed technical inquiries from customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by creating reusable assets and best practices for the SE team.
• Mentor less experienced sales representatives and SEs to improve overall team performance.

Requirements

• Experience in customer-facing Pre-sales SE or Technical Sales roles.
• Native-level Japanese proficiency (communication and reading).
• English proficiency for internal communication via email, Slack, and meetings.
• Ability to build trust-based relationships with technical staff and executive leaders.
• Strong communication skills for presenting at online or offline events.

Nice to have

• Experience with IAM, SSO, and protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, or LDAP.
• Proficiency with Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools like Kubernetes or Terraform.
• Hands-on development experience in Web, Mobile, or Backend (Java, Node.js, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Intelligent Agents, and Conversational Bots.
• Experience with application security (SSL/TLS, XSS, XSRF).
