What you will do

• Build targeted media lists manually and using tools like Cision and Muck Rack.
• Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and paparazzi sites for product seeding and gifting efforts.
• Identify key opinion leaders, influencers, and celebrities for brand partnership opportunities.
• Support pitching efforts to national, regional, and trade media and assist in crafting press releases.
• Report on PR campaigns and coverage to clients and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
• Manage tasks and projects through Asana, collaborating on cross-channel strategy sessions.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student enrolled in an internship course for college credit.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Academic background in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
• Sound understanding of AP Style, GSP, and the general media relations process.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with extreme attention to detail.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
