Salary: $136,000 — $187,000 CAD

What you will do

• Implement internal and edge networking infrastructure at global scale with multi-cloud and multi-region constraints.
• Carry cross-team initiatives end-to-end including code reviews, design reviews, operational robustness, and security hygiene.
• Design and develop services, tools, and automation for network functionality usable by other engineering and operations teams.
• Research and implement solutions for routing, failover, and scaling.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 3+ years software development experience in cloud-native services like APIs
• Demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS
• DevOps experience with cloud-agnostic, cloud-native technologies
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform
• Experience contributing to Go-based services
• Passion for global distributed systems that are reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure

Nice to have

• Product mindset toward infrastructure for self-service tools
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or major CDNs
• Experience with Service Mesh, Istio/Envoy Proxy, Kubernetes Gateway API
• Multi-cloud networking topologies and hybrid connectivity at scale
