What you will do

• Design and develop Control Server, API, and CLI for managing thousands of environments' lifecycles.
• Build automated rollbacks, hotfixes, and release patching for safe, reversible deployments.
• Create automated provisioners for product teams to spin up test environments without manual work.
• Implement reliable event publishing for environment state changes to downstream systems.
• Own intuitive, well-documented CLI and API interfaces with clear feedback.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate security and quality into deployment workflows.
• Participate in production incident support rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years building APIs, CLI tools, or backend orchestration
• Proficient in Golang
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems: idempotency, state machines, eventual consistency
• Expertise in managing AWS/Azure resources via code for provisioning
• Experience with IAM or OIDC/OAuth2 flows
• Tier-1 service mindset for handling failures gracefully
• Incremental delivery and passion for ownership

Nice to have

• Significant PostgreSQL experience for relational state management
• Custom Kubernetes controllers or Terraform providers
• gRPC for internal services
