Salary: $177,000 — $265,000 CAD

What you will do

• Manage, extend, and enhance developer productivity and platform tooling for local and remote Kubernetes environments.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines within CircleCI.
• Orchestrate weekly releases and automate deployment processes.
• Develop and improve internal tooling using Golang and hirify.global Workflows.
• Collaborate with SRE and Engineering teams to evolve the developer ecosystem.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in Go or a similar compiled language.
• Deep expertise in Cloud Native Technologies such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Crossplane, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of software engineering processes, agile frameworks, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with container deployment, service discovery, monitoring, scheduling, and load balancing at scale.
• Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for a hybrid work arrangement.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD systems like CircleCI or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with development and deployment in hosted cloud environments, preferably AWS.
