What you will do

• Build and evolve production ML and LLM systems, implementing feature pipelines and retraining workflows.
• Monitor and optimize model performance across diverse hospital environments to improve accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Develop and maintain model-level feature management systems on curated datasets for training and real-time inference.
• Collaborate with Data Science leaders to establish standards for feature design and production readiness.
• Partner with product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders to take complex models from notebooks into durable production systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and running ML models in production using Python and SQL.
• Proficiency with cloud-based ML environments (AWS & Databricks preferred) and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute feature engineering and inference workflows.
• Familiarity with operationalizing LLMs or RAG systems using frameworks like Langchain or LlamaIndex.
• Must be based in the United States

Nice to have

• Experience in NLP or explainable ML.
• Background in ML Ops infrastructure, including model packaging, orchestration, and CI/CD.
• Prior experience working with healthcare data, specifically EMR or hospital operations data.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
