Head of Analytics (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and implement the analytics and data governance framework from the ground up in a greenfield environment.
• Develop data pipelines, establish mandatory standards, documentation practices, and quality controls.
• Perform hands-on analysis using SQL and Python to uncover inconsistencies, risks, and business realities.
• Partner with top management and department heads to directly influence business decisions and scaling strategies.
• Build and scale the internal analytics team as the business grows.

Requirements

• Strong mathematical background (priority: MIPT, HSE, MSU, or similar).
• Deep understanding of mathematical statistics and probability theory.
• Expert-level SQL and Python skills.
• Proven experience in people management and building data processes/governance frameworks.
• English: B2 or higher required for collaboration with international teams.
• Location: Must be based in Mexico, Colombia, or countries within the GMT-5 / GMT-6 time zones.
