What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of internal engineering tooling to improve builder flow and reduce friction.
• Architect, develop, and operate internally facing AI agents and a scalable internal agent platform.
• Define best practices and drive the adoption of agentic coding tools like Codex and Claude Code.
• Create guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and documentation to enable safe and effective tooling adoption.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Sales to identify high-impact AI opportunities for acceleration.
• Establish feedback loops using metrics such as SPACE and DORA to quantify impact and inform prioritization.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a track record of leading production-quality internal platforms.
• Experience leveraging modern agentic coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code) and driving their adoption.
• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience architecting and scaling workflow automation, CLI tools, or GitHub/cloud automation.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with developer productivity measurement frameworks like SPACE and DORA metrics.
