Support Manager (Defense)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a 4-person service delivery team across dispersed sites in New Zealand.
• Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and configuration of hirify.global-delivered targetry and simulation equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for NZDF stakeholders to align support with training objectives.
• Manage personnel competence through performance management and career development.
• Oversee spare stock holdings and budgetary requirements for the support contract.
• Deploy on field exercises to provide direct operational and back-office support.

Requirements

• Right to work and live in New Zealand.
• Ability to pass security vetting for access to NZDF military establishments.
• Experience in a military training environment and understanding of NZDF doctrine.
• Strong leadership and line management experience.
• Technical competence and understanding of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS).
• Full Class 1 NZ driver's license.

Nice to have

• Class 2/4 (heavy trade) license.
