Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia

Building Devin, an AI software engineer designed to reason about and perform real-world software engineering tasks.

What you will do

• Own the technical customer lifecycle from deployment through activation and ongoing product adoption.
• Understand customers’ engineering challenges and identify productive use cases for Devin.
• Build relationships with engineering organizations, support integration, activate key users, and drive utilization.
• Design product demonstrations, execute enterprise pilots, and deliver customer training and enablement resources.
• Implement customer-requested features where appropriate and represent customer needs in product decisions.
• Provide product insight and help shape the roadmap through direct customer feedback.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM field.
• Proven success with enterprise deployments in go-to-market or forward-deployed engineering roles.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to customers at all levels.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and grow scope and responsibility quickly.
• Demonstrated exceptional ability to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience selling highly technical products.
• Previous software engineering experience.
• Experience founding a startup.
• Ability to switch quickly between broad technical and non-technical problems in high-intensity environments.
