What you will do

• Develop and maintain large-scale distributed server-side applications using Core Java 1.8+.
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL web services within a microservices architecture.
• Utilize Spring and Spring Boot to build robust backend systems.
• Manage data persistence using Relational and NoSQL databases with JPA and Hibernate.
• Implement messaging frameworks like JMS and ActiveMQ for asynchronous communication.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil.
• 8+ years of overall development experience, with the most recent 4 years focused on Java server-side development.
• Expertise in Core Java 1.8+, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Proficiency in JUnit, Mockito, and Assert-J for comprehensive testing.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud deployments, preferably Azure.
• Experience with in-memory distributed data storage such as memcache, ehcache, or Hazelcast.
• Experience with international software development including multi-currency and locale awareness.
