TL;DR

Mobile Engineer (LATAM): Help own and build out new features within our cross-platform TypeScript React Native app, and Golang backend APIs with an accent on React Native architecture, performance optimization, and scalable robust code. Focus on managing releases with feature flags, leading features end-to-end from design to deployment, and maintaining deep knowledge of application KPIs.

$2,200 - $6,000 per month (Gross USD); Junior: $2,200 - $3,500; Mid: $3,500 - $6,000

What you will do

  • Own and build new features in cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure for safe rollout to millions of users.
  • Maintain relationships with product, design, and business stakeholders to meet needs.
  • Build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code collaboratively.
  • Develop deep knowledge of application, data domain, and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years professional mobile development experience, with 6+ months in React Native or similar like Flutter.
  • Experience delivering mobile apps to Apple and Google app stores.
  • Strong familiarity with modern frontend development, JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
  • Strong unit, integration, and E2E testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium).
  • Ability to lead features end-to-end and perform high-quality code reviews.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.

Nice to have

  • Backend experience with Go, Python, Java or similar.
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and HTTP APIs.
  • Experience with native iOS/Android code.
  • Mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).
