What you will do

• Build and maintain Python frameworks and libraries for developing data models and metrics on Databricks.
• Collaborate with analysts and analytics engineers to streamline workflows and data product development.
• Maintain and extend DataHub as the central data governance portal.
• Develop CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions for validating, testing, and deploying data products.
• Administer Looker as the primary BI interface.
• Enhance observability, documentation, and developer experience in the data platform.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience as a software or data engineer building and deploying data pipelines or analytics workloads in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for production-ready code in libraries, pipelines, and automation.
• Knowledge of modern CI/CD practices, automation, testing, and observability.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
• Drive to improve team productivity and data product quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Spark, dbt, Looker, or DataHub.
• Interest in AI-assisted analytics or developer productivity tools.
