TL;DR

Location: Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid: up to 8 days of mobile work per month)

What you will do

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of technical training curricula, concepts, and materials for products and processes.
  • Define and execute the overall strategy for the Learning & Competence Development team, including KPIs and prioritization.
  • Manage, coach, and develop an international team, handling onboarding and professional development.
  • Analyze training needs based on performance data, technology updates, and feedback from Operations and HSE.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Regional Academies to ensure technical accuracy and global consistency.
  • Coordinate Train-the-Trainer activities to support trainer qualification and global knowledge exchange.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technical Education, Instructional Design, or a comparable field.
  • Extensive experience in technical training development or instructional design, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in global or cross-functional environments.
  • Strong strategic, organizational, and project management skills.
  • High proficiency in digital learning tools, multimedia content creation, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Fluent English skills, written and spoken.
