Embedded SW Developer (IoT)

TL;DR

Embedded SW Developer (IoT/Security): Designing, implementing, and delivering SW product increments for secure connectivity and IoT solutions with an accent on security countermeasures and embedded non-functional requirements. Focus on contributing to SW architecture, code implementation, verification, validation, and continuous process improvement.

Location: Sant Joan Despí (hybrid: 3 days remote per week, office attendance required M-Th 8:30-17:30, Fri 8:30-15:30). Easily accessible by public transport.

What you will do

• Participate in the full SW development process from requirements analysis to release and sprint planning.
• Contribute to SW architecture design.
• Implement SW based on formal designs, emphasizing security countermeasures and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate on code reviews from architectural and security perspectives.
• Verify and validate product behavior against functional and non-functional requirements.
• Drive continuous SW process improvements.

Requirements

• Academic studies in computer science, telecommunications, mathematics, physics, or related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated experience in embedded SW development (preferably more than 2 years).
• Experience with multiple programming/scripting languages (Java, C, C++, Python).
• Knowledge of computer networks and cybersecurity concepts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for explaining technical concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with version control, tracking, and documentation tools (GIT, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M architectures and toolchains (Keil uVision, ARM GCC, Clang/LLVM).
• Experience with artifact dependency management (Nexus) and CI tools (Jenkins).
• Knowledge of process-improvement frameworks (CMMI, ASPICE).
