What you will do

• Lead design of scalable solutions integrating platform and fabric management software with Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain custom Kubernetes Operators and Controllers in Go for lifecycle management of software and hardware components.
• Develop cloud-native integrations for high-performance fabric services alongside containerized workloads.
• Extend Kubernetes for HPC/AI-specific hardware, scheduling, and networking requirements.
• Collaborate with platform, fabric, and hardware teams for end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to open-source cloud-native projects and author technical documentation.

Requirements

• Reside within the United States for remote position.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience designing and developing Kubernetes solutions, including custom operators/controllers with Operator SDK or Kubebuilder.
• Strong proficiency in Go; experience with C++ or Python valuable.
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge: control plane, CNI networking, CSI storage.
• Hands-on with Docker or containerd and integrating platforms with Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with HPC or high-performance networking.
• Familiarity with low-latency environments.
• Monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd.
• CI/CD principles and deployment pipelines.
• Open-source contributions in Kubernetes/cloud-native ecosystem.
