What you will do

• Create high-quality 2D gameplay animations for characters, environments, and interactions with fluid motion and visual feedback.
• Produce UI animations and visual effects to enhance clarity and immersion.
• Design and implement particle effects and 2D VFX for gameplay storytelling.
• Integrate animations directly in Unity, ensuring performance and pipeline compatibility.
• Maintain visual consistency aligned with art direction and style guidelines.
• Iterate on assets based on feedback and support general 2D asset creation as needed.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as 2D Animator in games, with strong portfolio or demo reel.
• High proficiency in Spine for animation workflows, rigging, and pipelines.
• Strong skills in Adobe After Effects or similar for previews and VFX.
• Understanding of core animation principles: timing, weight, squash and stretch, motion clarity.
• Hands-on experience with Unity for in-engine animation implementation.
• Comfortable creating 2D VFX including particle or hand-drawn effects.
• Proficient in digital painting tools like Adobe Photoshop.
• Fluent English communication for distributed cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver within timelines.
• Adaptable as generalist in small agile team.
