What you will do

• Define and execute visual style, tone, and quality bar for the game.
• Lead and guide art team across specializations with clear vision and feedback.
• Carry artistic vision from prototyping through execution, launch, and support.
• Prioritize visual quality while aiming for excellent overall game experience.
• Apply knowledge of gaming trends, design requirements, and technical limitations.

Requirements

• Experience shipping AA/AAA game as mentor, manager, or Art Director
• Excellent verbal/written communication and artistic feedback skills
• Strong Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush or equivalent skills
• Deep understanding of color, composition, visual storytelling
• Ability to create visual/written briefs and high/low poly assets (props, buildings, organics)
• Experience with Unreal, rendering tech (lighting, VFX, post FX), anatomy, landscapes
• Understanding of game design, missions, levels; active gamer
• Ability to work with outsourcing partners
