What you will do

• Develop and maintain PHP/Symfony backend functionality.
• Build reporting features for regulators and process large datasets efficiently.
• Ensure strict data validation and integrity across the system.
• Implement and support asynchronous processing using message queues and background jobs.
• Monitor system health and investigate data processing issues using Kibana.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders involved in regulatory operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong experience with PHP 8.4 and typed code.
• 3+ years of experience with Symfony or related frameworks.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including indexing, complex joins, and window functions.
• Experience with Doctrine, specifically optimization and batch processing.
• English: Good spoken and written proficiency required to communicate with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory or compliance-related systems.
• Experience with data pipelines and high-load data processing.
• Experience in systems where validation and correctness are business-critical.
