Location: Latin America, fully remote. Work hours: 8 hours between Pacific and East Coast office hours.

What you will do

• Develop high-quality backend software and build the technical foundation for IoT digital workflows
• Provide architecture advice, research new technologies, and create go-to-market plans for service architecture
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams
• Develop testing, performance plans, and lead backend team processes in Scrum
• Mentor and coach the team as technical lead

Requirements

• Expertise in microservices with Node.js and in-depth experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch) and 3rd party libraries
• Expert CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI), relational DBs (MySQL/Postgres), NoSQL (DynamoDB)
• Expert Terraform/Terragrunt, alerting/monitoring tools, Agile/Scrum teams
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; ability to solve problems independently

Nice to have

• Experience with Terragrunt
