Business Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Supporting the Implementation department by creating and managing Quotes, Statements of Work (SOW), and discovery documents for digital banking solutions with an accent on bridging business and technical requirements. Focus on conducting SME interviews, defining dataflows, and ensuring adherence to security and privacy policies in an agile environment.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What you will do

• Define business requirements in collaboration with customers and vendors.
• Create requirements and dataflows that bridge business and technical specifications.
• Document and communicate requirements to development teams to obtain effort estimates.
• Maintain documentation that defines project scope and provides clear guidance for developers.
• Ensure all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies are strictly adhered to.
• Operate effectively within an agile delivery environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available).
• Fluent written and oral communication in English.
• Professional knowledge of the project management lifecycle and the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience as a business analyst specifically within an online banking environment.
• Salesforce experience, including the ability to navigate and update data.
• Experience with RFP software and processes.
