Location: Hybrid; must reside within commutable distance to Mississauga, Ontario or Salt Lake City office for regular in-office events

Salary: CAD $142,000–$158,000 + bonus + benefits

What you will do

• Leverage AI-powered coding assistants like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to boost developer productivity, onboarding, and code quality.
• Evaluate and integrate AI tools into workflows for code generation, documentation, and testing.
• Design, build, and maintain internal tools, libraries, and automation to streamline developer workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to address pain points.
• Advocate for best practices in CI/CD, testing, observability, and code quality.
• Monitor developer productivity metrics and contribute to documentation and education.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with developer tooling (linters, formatters, IDE plugins).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience integrating or building AI-powered developer tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience on internal platforms or developer tooling.
• Familiarity with metrics and telemetry (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Contributions to open-source DevEx tools.
